2. Third-Party Services
Holiscan integrates with trusted third-party services to power its core functionality. We work only with reputable providers and share only what is strictly necessary for each service to operate:
RevenueCat
Manages your in-app subscription and purchase history. RevenueCat processes billing securely through Apple or Google and does not receive your health or scan data.
Google Vision API
Powers our AI photo-scan feature, enabling Holiscan to identify food products from images. Images are processed transiently and are not stored by Google on our behalf.
Open Food Facts
An open-source food database used to retrieve nutritional information for scanned products. Queries are made using product barcodes only — no personal information is shared.

Holiscan is an informational tool and does not provide medical advice. The information and reports generated by Holiscan are intended for general wellness awareness only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your diet or health.

We take the security of your personal information seriously. Your scan history and account data are encrypted both in transit and at rest. We apply industry-standard security practices to protect your data.
We do not sell your personal health data to third-party advertisers. Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve the Holiscan service for you.
